In this painting, I am recreating the luscious feeling of swimming on a warm summer evening under the night sky. Water flowing, paint flowing, colors flowing: phthalo blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine, and turquoise. I’m inspired by memories of illuminated infinity pools in California and Hawaii, reflecting calming, luminous shades of infinite blues. Swimming at night, a soothing and ethereal experience.
